Project 6

Project 6
In this project we experimented with 3 new different types of editing photos, Cyanotype, Gum Bichromate, and Wet Plates. Three very different and fun types of editing and making.

Cyanotype:
I used a water style type of brush and just started clicking around and dragging my brush around to make it look really cool. Then put a cool blue tint on it and I used a water splashing type of brush because we were on a field trip at the fountains in Portland.

Cyanotype:
I be a radial balance on this photo and made sure to make it look cool and forestry. I used a light brush to almost set the tone and give it a cloudy and spooky feel towards the photo.

Gum Bichromate:
I took this photo in Alaska with some of my team and I put some bright vibrant colors on it and you can sort of see the colors in it but I really like it because it looks fun and happy.

Gum Bichromate w/o a tint:
I was just messing around in class and didn't put a filter on it just to see what it would look like and i think it looks really fun and playful.

Gum Bichromate:
I originally took this standing under a tree like the one above but it is a totally different picture with a totally different edits. I set a tint to this originally and added orange to the edges and also a light yellow over all of that.

Wet Plate:
I used 3 different textures 1 being a rust, 2 being a mossy filter, 3 being a crackle, I forgot to add a border to this picture but it still looks pretty cool.

Wet Plate:
I took this on the patio of Lincoln High School and it was a picture of the trees and I had to capture it. The layers and textures give this old throwback look to this picture.

Project 5 Multiple Perspectives

HDR 1: The Old Into The New
Here in this HDR I took all 5 images changed the exposed value and put one main preset on it and it made this photo wicked cool.

HDR 2: Views Of Scenery
In this HDR I changed the whole color/tint of the picture to a blue-ish purple-ish color to give it a cool feeling like if you were actually sanding looking towards this.

HDR 3: Hawthorne Black & White
Here I had to add all 5 images into into photoshop and change the exposure value and it was originally bright then I put a preset on it to make it look black and white.

Motion 1: Views
Here I darkened more of the layers to get a shadowy feeling and point of view of this cool sculpture.

Motion: Hawthorne In Color
I layered 3 images and messed with the whole picture color, changing it to have a red-ish tint and it made the bushes in front look 3-D.

Panorama: Here I took about 7 different pictures then had to merge together and change it to a warm tint and mood.

Panorama: This was an originally a normal panorama.

Ice Fishing in Alaska

Here are some cool pictures of me catching fish and me and the team. I was the first one to catch a fish and it only took 3 try's! After that I caught 2 more! And there was a tradition of once you catch a fish you have to kiss it I guess. So as you can see my facial expression says it all.
