Different types of photography:

Grant Brummet

David Seung
Total Motion

Steve Heiner
Slow Motion

Dak Dillion
Freeze Photography

2 Different photographers
showing same action different capture:

Alexander Yakovlev
Freeze Motion
I think the freeze motion works better then the total motion photography because it looks more in depth and pops out more. But total motion has grown on me. So it isn't far below freeze action.

Exploring Depth of Field and Abstraction

My Definition of Abstraction: I believe that abstraction is something that brings out something to the fullest potential. Something that an item or object that relates to and reflects that. Weather it's colors, texture, form, shape, etc. Something that says "Hey look at me!!!" very loudly.

My Examples of Abstraction:

Depth and Field is shown by the darkness and texture around the lines of each strand of hair it looks like to give it mad detail.

Depth of Field is shown here by brightness and details of the darkness to make it look like Kobe is popping out.

Depth of Field is shown here by the little line of white between Lebron and the background colors. And how his body looks 3D which helps create that perspective.

Oldest Family Picture

This picture means a lot to me because it was picture of my mom and her brother and their parents. You may notice that they are white and she is a bit darker. Well when she was real young she was adopted by her parents as you can see above. So my life has many different races. My dads side is all black. My moms side is Native American, and White. Which I'm proud of.

Project 8 Commercial Portraits and Fine Art Portraits

Project 8

Commercial Art Portrait
I took down the brightness and exposure an made the clarity really really sharp and crisp. Then I brought out the red but very densely. Which gives the shoes the extra pop they need to make it look like they are popping out at you.

Commercial Art Portait
Here I brighten the whites and and tried my best to really darken the blacks. I made the clarity a little bit blurry to give it a softer look. And there are two main things that catch your eye. One happens to be her, the other happens to be the water bottle in her hands.

Fine Art Portrait
Here I took a lot of the whites up but just enough to make sure that there is glow around his figure. I also took the saturation down a bit but still left a little bit of color, then I took the clarity to the highest point it could be which makes it look really rough and scratchy.

Fine Art Portrait
Here I used a preset then took the clarity way up and took some of the lightness out and made it look really really rough. And the reason I didn't crop the brick wall out is because I think it makes it more tough and since it's just a wall you don't really focus on it and your eye catches him and just focuses on Q.

Project 8 Pre work

Katerina Plotnikova Fine Art Photography

I like this photo because of the interesting concept of it. It's unique and rare, which makes the photo so cool. Not often you see a woman putting their face on a fox. I also love the head dress, because she may be Native American which would be even cooler because so am I.

Katerina Plotnikova Fine Art Photography

I like this portrait because of the way the photographer made the lights pop and blur the background. Also love how this photo has a tone and mood that it gives off. Also love how the model was able to get so close to the wolf.

Raven Varona Commercial Art Photography

I like this photo because of the lights and how it brings out this very vibrant but settle tone. I also like how you get a feeling of being off balance but at the same time stable because the model is clearly holding onto an object that keeps her from falling over. I also love the shoes because they are the best type of Jordan brand shoes called Carmine 6's which are limited addition.

Liz Barclay Commercial Art Photography

i like this photo because each pair of shoes cost $250 and because of the way the light hits the shoes makes them pop with color. I also like this photo because its's Oregon Duck shoes not often you see shoes like this.

Project 7 Surrealism and Photo Montage

Project 7: We learned how to make surrealism artwork. Which was basically a concept of randomness and fun, weird things. I had a very fun time making these photos but coming up with ideas were very hard and stressful.

Misdirection

I took the statue from pioneer square and place him and gave him a darker transparent look to it so it wasn't just a solid figure. I also took a famous street sign which had like 30 different street names all pointing in different directions and made that sorta invisible a which made the statue almost give off a feeling of he is pointing at the sign.

Baby's

In this photo I originally capture with my girlfriend in it and I decided to put a $20 dollar bill inside of the piece she was looking at. Then Ms.Abens my photography teacher advised me to but my nephew in it as well. Which turned out pretty cool.

Revenge Of The Hydro's

In this photo I was messing around and I realized that I have tons of Hydro Flask's and it would cool if I made a collage sorta kinda. It isn't the best but it isn't that bad.

Project 7 - Pre Work

What was the surrealism art movement?

Surrealism is a culture movement that began in the early 1920's and is best known for it's visual artworks and writings. The aim was to "resolve the previously contradictory conditions of dreams and reality".

Major Surrealist Artist:
